LPD6803 Advantages
- Presence of a clock allows for faster refresh rates
- High PWM rate allows for filming these pixels with cameras up to 34fps
- Up to 12V, allowing for long cable lengths
LPD6803 Disadvantages
- Only 5 bits of data for each color makes dimming curves much less smooth
- No redundancy in data
